Draft South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan EIS/EIR available for public review:
The Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report for the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP) now is available for public review. In the works for several years, the SSHCP streamlines permitting processes for future development and infrastructure projects in much of south Sacramento County while conserving habitat, open space and agricultural land.
Comments will be accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, and can be submitted using one of the following methods:
